Lights! Camera! Action!
The 6th grade art students became short Stop Motion directors for an art project this last month. Their task was to create a video by designing a background, planning a story, and then making the action happen. They learned to use an app on the iPads called Stop Motion. To make the video the students had to take numerous pictures of their objects as they slowly moved them around being careful not to move the iPad too much or the object too much. Their movies may not be ready for the “big screen” but their work was nothing but amazing considering it was their first production.
