On Saturday, January 17^th, 20 students attended Singing Youth of NE in North Platte. The choir consisted of 184 students from 16 area schools. Those who participated were 7^th graders, Austin Adam, Jadyn Brooks, Alyse Foster, Kylea Stritt, Johnathan Stritt, Johanna Sughroue, and Kailey Wilcox; 8^th graders, Walter Fitzsimmons, Stacia Hinz, Paul McConville, Cara Oltmer, Jay Porter, Suzanne Roggenkamp, Caleb Shald, Brett Soderlund, and Zachary Wright; 9^th graders, Alex Porter, Brady Porter, Natalie Shald, and Kayliegh Sughroue. The choir performed The National Anthem and six other selections. The guest conductor was Theresa Rotert from Hershey Public Schools.

The RPAC Vocal Clinic was held in Alma on Monday, January 19^th. Singers from Alma, Arapahoe, Bertrand, Cambridge, Medicine Valley, Southern Valley, and Southwest attended and were directed by Kurt Runestadt, from Doane College. For the final concert, each choir performed a song of their own, and the mass choir performed The National Anthem and 4 other prepared pieces. Students enjoyed the day working with Dr. Runestadt and visiting with friends from other schools.
