Thirty-four Southwest art students went on a field trip Nov. 7 to Lexington and Kearney.  At Lexington they viewed the “Painting Nebraska’s Legacy” collection by Todd Williams at the Dawson County Historical Society Museum , which included paintings of many area counties for Nebraska’s sesquicentennial.  In Kearney they went to the Museum of Nebraska Art and viewed a wide variety of artwork, including paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, and photography.
