State Speech, Here We Come!

The SW High School Speech Team had multiple successes at the District meet on Saturday, March 16. Here are the results:

Jadyn Brooks placed second in Persuasive speaking, qualifying for state. 

Johanna Sughroue placed second in Serious prose, qualifying for state.

Paul McConville and Walter Fitzsimmons placed third with their duet, qualifying for state.

Walter also placed fifth with his humorous prose for his second medal on the day. 

The state meet is next Friday, and they are all pretty excited to have the opportunity to compete at state! Good job to Mr. Chesterman and the speech team for an outstanding season. Good luck at State!
