I am currently in my third year as Superintendent of Southwest Public Schools. Prior to this role, I served for eight years as the Activities Director at Loomis Public Schools, where I gained valuable experience in student leadership, athletics, and community engagement.

I hold a K–6 Elementary Education degree from Hastings College, along with a master’s degree in PK–8 School Principalship and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of Nebraska–Kearney. These experiences have shaped my leadership philosophy, which centers on academic excellence, student growth, and strong school–community partnerships.

I strongly believe in providing meaningful, memorable educational opportunities for all students—experiences they can cherish for a lifetime. In every decision I make, students always come first.

My wife, Whitney, teaches at Southwest Elementary in Indianola, and together we are raising our four children—Houston, Aspen, Baylor, and Bruin. Our family is proud to be part of the Southwest community, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve a district that values students, staff, and families.
