I was born and raised in West Virginia, received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry at James Madison University, and earned my teaching certification at UNK. I taught at Southern Valley Elementary for 4 years before coming to this district. I have been teaching for this district since 2001. I taught elementary at Republican Valley, then continued as we merged into Southwest. I have since moved to teach at the Jr/Sr High, where I teach 6th grade Band and Choir, Jr. High Band, Jr. High Choir, High School Band, High School Choir, and Drama. I am the sophomore sponsor, as well as one of the One-Act Play Coaches. I am married to Les Roggenkamp, who teaches Agriculture at Southwest. We have 2 daughters who reside in Kansas.
