Townsend Scholarship Awarded to Ms. Kate Kelley
Launch the media gallery 1 playerCongratulations to Ms. Kate Kelley who was selected to receive the University of Nebraska Foundation Delbert L. Townsend Scholarship for the 2013-2014 school year. As a Townsend scholar she will receive $4,000 a year to be utilized towards her tuition, books and fees at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. As a part of the award, funds are available to assist her in purchasing a personal computer. Col. Townsend envisioned his scholarship program as supporting deserving students throughout their undergraduate career. As such, her scholarship is renewable for three additional years, providing she maintains a certain degree of academic excellence and abides by University rules and regulations.
