Bucket Music!
Jr. High Music
In Junior High, we have been creating music using chairs, buckets, mineral tubs, and drums. We first started with drum sticks on chairs; we then had students bring in mineral tubs to use as our "bass" drums. Jeremy Guerrero donated some drums for us to use, and is currently trying to get us some buckets. The students have been reading music off the Smart Board, improvising rhythms, and creating Call-and-Response patterns. It has been a lot of fun watching them have fun while they learn!
